I am grateful to have had a very happy and supportive upbringing.
I am grateful to have had a very happy and supportive upbringing.
My parents respected my point of view and allowed me to try
things, and if I failed, I was given the space to learn and grow.
Thisgave me the confidence to trust in my own decisions.
Many people aren’t as lucky. They have self-trust issues due
to childhood trauma or challenges that made them lose trust in themselves.
If you want to build trust with yourself, a good idea is to start exploring the values in each area of your life. You can also think about your personal boundaries and what’s important to you.
Something that you may not be putting enough emphasis on is listening to your own needs, making time for the things that give you energy and practicing being kind to yourself.
This applies to men too!
When you strengthen your connection with yourself, you’re likely to feel renewed confidence and will trust yourself to make better decisions.
You may find it difficult to trust yourself at first, but the more you exercise that trusting muscle, the more naturally it’ll come to you.
Yes, that is me in the photo - in my confidence stance.😂
